Restaurant Santa-Marina opened in 2001
Chef, Milan has been working in several restaurants before he decided to open his own restaurant known as Santa-Marina. Also he was the owner of the famous "Pizzeria ZG" in the city center.

Peka is a Baked dish with meat and vegetables made in a pot or a tray, the pot is put into the embers of a fireplace, in many houses here in Dalmatia, especially on the country side, you have a special place in the barn or at the ground floor of the house for preparing the Peka.
Dalmatian Pašticada is a stewed beef dish cooked in special sauce, popular in Croatia. It requires long and meticulous preparation: first, the meat is pierced and stuffed with garlic, cloves, carrot and bacon, then salted and marinated in vinegar overnight.
The so-called riba na gradele represents a traditional way of preparing fish. From tiny sardines to a variety of fish such as dentex, seabass, gilt-head bream and mackerel, it’s hard to decide which is better when grilled. Dalmatian fish is considered to be top quality.
